You will only need to pay for PS+ if you are using a PS5. Steam users will not have to pay for PS+ to play online

Yes!

I can't upgrade to the Super Citizen Edition on Steam

This is a known issue with Steam, however you will be able to upgrade at launch. As long as you've preordered the standard edition, you wont miss any bonus content!

Gameplay Questions

How many players are in a squad?

Each squad consists of up to a maximum of 4 players

Do I need to have played Helldivers 1?

No, not at all! Helldivers 2 is built to be completely friendly to newcomers to the franchise!

Can I play solo?

You can! However the game is designed as co-op experience, so you may have difficulty completing higher level content on your own

Am I able to play offline?

Helldivers 2 requires an internet connection in order to play

Are Super Earth the bad guys?

This is dissident talk, turn yourself in to the nearest Super Earth re-education centre as soon as possible

Technical Questions

Is there ultrawide support?

Ultrawide monitors are supported, but not yet perfected. This may result in the encounter of a few minor UI issues

Does PC support Dualshock 5 haptics?

Dualshock 5 haptics are supported on PC, however you need to make sure steam input is disabled before launching the game!
