How do I send/accept a friend request?

While on a ship (your own or a squad mate’s), you can access your Social tab by navigating through the Pause menu, or by pressing Tab on PC or X on the PS5.

In this screen, you can look at your friends list, players you have recently played with, pending friend invitations, and blocked players. You can also search for players to add as friends by using their friend code, or you can generate a friend code to send to other players. When you open the recent players menu you can also send a friend request to players you have played the game with recently.
